Drop Zone Owners

Luke and Beth Short have nearly 40 years of combined experience in the sport of skydiving and have nearly 3000 jumps. Both are advanced license holders, and have set multiple state, national and world records. Luke has held Coach, SIGMA Tandem, and AFF Instructional ratings. Beth is an FAA Senior Parachute Rigger. They have a passion for skydiving and are excited to share their love of the sport with the next generation of jumpers.

They also own Skydive Missoula in the Bitterroot Valley. They are thrilled to be able to offer skydiving to more people across Montana.

Staff

Brandon “McG” McLaughlin
DZ Manager

McG started jumping at Skydive San Diego in 2012. He spent years immersed in the skydiving world where weekends were measured in loads, sunsets, and dirt dives with close friends. Most of his time in the air was focused on relative work — building formations, chasing clean exits, and learning the discipline that comes from flying close and trusting the people around you.

Professionally, Brandon went on to build a career in engineering and product development, leading teams and helping bring new ideas to life. But the lessons and friendships from the drop zone have always stayed with him, and he is thrilled to be back in skydiving full-time in beautiful Western Montana.

Chasen Richardson
Pilot

I’m Chasen, born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada. I have been flying Jumpers for about 4 years now and logging about 1200 jump flights. I love the community and friendship that surrounds skydiving. I take pride in smooth, safe, and fun flights for our skydivers. Outside of kicking jumpers out, I love to fly my Aeronca Champ, snowboarding, mountain biking, and working on anything with an engine. I’m excited to trade the desert heat for mountain flying and cool Montana air!
